Nestled in the residential fabric of the northwest corner of Gandhinagar. This project aimed to meet the essential needs of a growing family by renovating and extending the existing house. Furthermore, it aimed to provide individualized cozy spaces based on interests and moods, ensuring privacy. The focus was on creating free, flexible spaces with ample natural light. Transforming a typical ground-story house, the extension introduced different levels, space volumes, and other architectural features to establish interlaced connections and enhance relationships within the space and the immediate exterior. Functional elements, along with varied structural explorations respecting the existing house’s materials, elevate the ambiance of the space.
