Located in the hot and dry region of Dhrangadhra, renowned for its abundant sandstone resources, the site spans a 20,000 sq ft plot within a larger 13-acre expanse of farmland and a stone factory. Designed as a second home for a growing multigenerational family, the house emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and traditional construction techniques, using natural materials such as locally sourced bricks, sandstone, granite, and teakwood as primary finishes.​

The design envisions a grounded primary structure for the main house, complemented by two additional buildings - a guest house and an office - arranged loosely around a central courtyard. This courtyard, surrounded by inward-facing verandas, opens seamlessly to the pool area, creating a harmonious balance of privacy and connection. A peripheral boundary wall unifies the structures, fostering a sense of cohesion and enclosure.​

Flexibility defines the design, with thoughtfully planned common gathering spaces that allow for seamless separation of private and communal areas, accommodating the evolving needs of the family.
